The DJI Fly app allows you to quickly capture professional-level videos by using a variety of pre-programmed drone flight patterns. Dronie, Helix, Rocket, Circle, and Boomerang modes are available. QuickTransfer allows you to quickly backup and share your QuickShots to your mobile device.

The Mini 3's incorporated automated functions, such as automatic takeoff, accurate hovering, and several return-to-home modes, make flying less stressful. Precise hovering use the drone's downward vision as well as its infrared sensing equipment to achieve a stable and accurate hover. Smart RTH, Low Battery RTH, and Failsafe RTH are return-to-home modes that employ GPS to automatically fly the Mini 3 back to its takeoff location when necessary.
